LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—Kentucky State Police have reported three people were arrested on Tuesday after a meth lab was discovered in a home in Bedford.

According to the police report, KSP obtained a search warrant after receiving information about methamphetamine being cooked in a home at 200 Estelle Lane.  Upon searching, Troopers located several ingredients used in the manufacturing of meth, as well as several pieces of drug paraphernalia.

The arrested include Pendleton resident Nathaniel Townsend, 33, Carrollton resident Joseph Turner, 38, and Milton resident Charity Purvis, 34.  All three have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a meth precursor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspects are being held at the Carroll County Detention Center.

Four children were also found in the home at the time of the arrests.  They were released to a family member.
