LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man is behind bars at Metro Corrections after being accused of stealing a prescription and threatening a child with a hand gun.

According to court documents, Chizvest "Hector" Summers Jr., 20, went to a home in the 1600 block of Prentice Street he had visited earlier in the day, knocked on the door and requested to use the bathroom.

The arrest warrant states Summers was allowed into the home by a 13-year-old girl, then he demanded a prescription from her mother. Apparently, Summers had witnessed the woman picking up the prescription at a pharmacy earlier the same day.

When the mother refused to hand over the prescription, detectives said Summers grabbed the woman's 10-year-old daughter, placed a handgun to the child's head, threatening her life.

The prescription was handed over to Summers and he left the scene, according to the warrant.

Summers is charged with wanton endangerment, robbery and burglary.
