HARDIN CO. Ky. – Seven marijuana plants and a barrel believed to be stolen from Jim Beam were recovered in Hardin County Monday afternoon.
Police said they were called to a report of several juveniles attempting to break into a vehicle on Airview Drive around noon on Monday. When police got to the scene, witnesses said that several juveniles ran into a residence in the 200 block of Airview Drive.
While attempted to gain entry into the home, police said they noticed a marijuana plant in plain view inside the home.
A search warrant was obtained and police entered the home to find seven marijuana plants and that whiskey barrel.
The juveniles involved were released to their parents, police said.
