CARROLL COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) – Officials with the Carroll County Police say another section of the road where a home was destroyed in a mudslide on Friday has been closed.

Police said the slide happened just after 6:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Highway 36 West, less than a mile from the first mudslide.

There were no injuries or damage and 100 people are currently without power.

Police say that LG&E tells them the power should be restored within the hour.
