LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville is facing charges after police said he left his children in a hot car while he went to get beer.
Timothy Coleman was arrested Friday afternoon at a Thornton's gas station on Preston Highway.
It was 106 degrees outside when police said Coleman left two children in a locked car with the doors and windows locked. Police said the car was running.
According to the police report, Coleman returned to the car with a bag of ice and a 12-pack of beer.
Coleman is charged with wanton endangerment.
