Police: Man flees accident scene with young daughter in tow

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville father is facing several charges after police said he was involved in a hit and run accident.

Twenty-year-old Howard Foley, Jr. was arrested Thursday. Police said Foley fled from an accident scene at Taylor Boulevard and Woodlawn Avenue when he struck another vehicle.

According to a police report, Foley had is 2-year-old daughter in the car during the entire incident. Police said he fled at a high rate of speed, running through yards and nearly hitting other vehicles before he stopped.

Once Foley stopped, police said his vehicle they discovered his license was suspended and he did not have current or valid proof of insurance.

Foley is charged with wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, operating on a suspended license and failure to maintain required insurance.
