GRAVEL SWITCH, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky State Police say they are investigating a murder-suicide in central Kentucky.
Police said in a statement Saturday that they were called to the scene of the shooting at a Casey County residence late Friday. The statement says investigators arrived to find the bodies of 52-year-old Judith Duncil and 61-year-old George Merrick on the porch of Duncil's home.
Police say the two were dating and got into a verbal argument that escalated and led to Merrick getting a rifle from his truck. Police say he shot Duncil, then shot himself.
