LOUISVILLE, Ky -- A Louisville man is facing charges after police said he was driving on Broadway Street with two people on top of his car screaming for the driver to let them off.
According to police, Mortez Miles is charged with reckless driving and wanton endangerment. The police report states that he was driving eastbound on Broadway Street near 22nd Street in a Mazda with two women riding on top of his car. When Miles made a right turn, an officer at the scene heard the females scream to stop the car.
This happened around 10:30 Sunday night.
Police say Miles was operating the car in a way that created 'substantial risk of death or serious physical injury' to his passengers.
