Police: Louisville woman charged with stealing from disabled patient

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville woman is charged with stealing money from a disabled person in her care.

Alea Waters was charged with theft after police say she took cash out of the wallet belonging to a mentally challenged woman with cerebral palsy who was under her care.

The victim, Nikki Henderson, marked bills in her wallet and said Waters had those same bills in her possession.  Waters was employed by Planning for Life and has since been fired.
