LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – An attempted burglary turns into a home invasion around 1 p.m. Saturday and sends one of the suspects to the hospital.
Police say three suspects attempted to break into a home in the 1400 block of Fayette Drive and the owner fired shots at the suspects. One of the suspects, a 16-year-old was injured and was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old was found shot in the 5100 block of Poplar Level Road.
Police say that the two other suspects were juveniles.
LMPD is still investigating this case.
