2 arrested, 1 on the loose after shooting in front of Louisville Kroger

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) --Louisville Metro Police Department made two arrests in connection with the shooting of the store manager that took place outside the Kroger store on New Cut Road Friday morning at about 7:00 p.m. Friday.

Devonnte Jammal McElroy, 19, was arrested. He is charged with criminal attempted murder and Robbery in the first degree and he is also believed to be the shooter. A 16-year-old black female was also arrested. She is charged with Robbery in the first degree. Both were arrested outside an apartment building in the 7000 block of Yorktown.

A third suspect is still at large. He is believed to be a black male in his 30s.

The Kroger store manager is recovering at home, according to a family member. He was shot in the upper shoulder.
