LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- Police have identified the man struck and killed in an accident on Taylorsville road Thursday morning.
Charles James, 44, was walking across Taylorsville Road at Lowe Road against the traffic light. He was struck by a Ford Freestyle.
James was taken to University Hospital and later died from his injuries.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating. No charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
