HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11)—A partnership between schools in Hardin County and the local hospital will help students get an early look at the medical field.
Hardin County Schools and Hardin Memorial Hospital announced the partnership, giving students who are enrolled in the Early College and Career Center an opportunity to work clinical hours. The students will also serve in an internship during their senior year.
Six students will start work this school year in the pharmacy program. Other students will also be able to get experience in nursing, sports medicine and other areas of the hospital as part of this partnership.
