PGA wants guests to be safe, beware of heat

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville in the summer is hot and humid and it's something the PGA definitely has in mind.

A medical staff is ready and waiting at the course for any emergency that may arise.

Everyone we spoke with said the most important element to having a good time in the heat this week is water and no, we asked, and beer doesn't count.

Other suggestions are to wear breathable clothes and pop into the tented air conditioned areas if you feel overheated.
