LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kids got a good workout on Wednesday at Oxmoor Country Club.

The upcoming PGA Championship has everybody giving golf a swing, even youngsters between the ages of six and nine.

Cory Kaufman is the Director of Instruction at Oxmoor and is a St. X and Bellarmine graduate.

He said he wants to make golf fun because sometimes, kids can get overwhelmed by all the rules.

The kids gave golf their best shot, jumping through hula hoops and even firing shots at a hippo's mouth.

If you want more information on the camp or lessons, contact Oxmoor Country Club at (502) 491-7877.
