Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - The PGA is teaming up with other agencies to plant more than 1,000 trees in the Parklands of Floyds Park.

Employees and volunteers from the PGA, the Nature Conservancy and Lexmark spread native wildflower seed on May 13 as part of the initiative.

The PGA is participating to continue its commitment to benefit communities hosting its championships.

In August, the PGA Championship will be at Valhalla Golf Club.
