CINCINNATI (AP) -- A southwest Ohio judge has set bond at $1.1 million for a woman charged with vehicular homicide after a crash that killed her 4-year-old grandson.
Police said 43-year-old Geanna Mitchell was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Saturday night and was driving an SUV that she took without permission. They said she crossed center line on a bridge over the Ohio River. Police say the SUV flipped onto its top after hitting an oncoming car and a barrier.
Mitchell, her 9-year-old daughter and the driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Mitchell's grandson, Logan Mitchell, was badly hurt and died at a hospital.
A Hamilton County judge set bond after a court appearance Monday morning. A telephone listed for her attorney wasn't receiving messages Monday.
