LOUISVILLE, Ky -- The man accused of killing a Sullivan University student in 2010 was back in court Thursday.
Gregory O'Bryan's lawyers asked the court to release his alleged victim, Andrew Compton's, medical records. Compton's body was never found and there is still no cause of death.
O'Bryan's lawers wanted to see if Compton had a prior medical condition and brought up the possibility that he could have died of cardiac arrest, accelerated by drug and alcohol use.
The judge has yet to make a decision on if this evidence will be unsealed, but he did agree to release a 911 call from O'Bryan. The case is scheduled to go to trial the week of July 9.
