Louisville, Ky. (WHAS) – If you’re a delinquent taxpayer in Kentucky, November 30 marks the last day to take advantage of the state’s tax amnesty program.
The Department of Revenue says taxpayer centers throughout the state are open until 9 P.M.
It’s the chance for those who haven’t paid to do so without penalty and a lower interest rate.
For those who don’t apply for amnesty, they face tougher penalties and fees, a higher interest rate and more aggressive collection efforts.
