LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- One day after Louisville’s fourth homicide of the year, there are no leads, no suspects, and no motive in the death of Levelle Richards.

The father of two was found shot to death in a home on Gregg avenue near Algonquin Park at about 5:30 Thursday evening. On Friday those who knew him and lived among him are anxious to know what happened.

Many of Richards’ neighbors say they didn’t know him well, but the 38-year-old was a familiar facet at his gym.

“He's a very respectful young man he's been a member of the family life center for years”, Pastor Mark McCoy said, a deacon at St. Stephen’s Church.

McCoy said Richards came into the gym and Saint Stephens Church and lifted weights daily, but it doesn't appear he came in the day he was found dead.

Kevin Nelson said he's worked out alongside Richards for about 15 years.

“However the story goes he was a good man”, says Nelson.
