LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- WHAS11 News has learned no charges are expected to be filed after an accident involving a school bus loaded with Frost Middle School students.
The accident happened in September 2012 at the Moorman and Lower River roads intersection when a Ford Mustang carrying three Butler High School students ran into the bus, causing it to flip onto its side. Forty-eight students from the bus and two students from the Mustang were taken to the hospital.
Police said after their investigation there is not enough evidence to file criminal charges, calling it an “unfortunate accident.”
None of the students suffered serious injuries in the accident.
