LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A new long-range transportation has been created to create a greater mobility between the places where people live, work and shop in the city of Louisville.

The project is called Move Louisville.

The city has received a $600,000 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s grant program.

Louisville matched the grant with $125,000 and has partnered with TARC for an additional $25,000.

A public forum was held at TARC headquarters where people could ask questions, get a better idea of the plan and give their input on what kind of transportation is needed.
