LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Another milestone has been met for the 5-year-old girl who survived a house fire that killed her three siblings in New Albany in January.

Tatyana Hughes took her first steps since being burned in the fire cause by a flare shot into the home.

Hughes continues to recover at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.

Her mother hopes to find out when she'll be released later this week.

She will undergo extensive rehab.

Her brothers and sisters all died in the fire.

18-year-old Cody Cashion and three other teens face charges in the fire.
