(WHAS 11)--Two archery tournaments are bringing thousands of archers to Downtown Louisville.

More than 55 hundred archers will be in town.

The NFAA archers ranging in age from 7 to 70 will participate.

Many well known archers, including Paralympians, world team members and past world cup team members will compete March 14-16.

The National Archery in the school's program began in 2002 as a way to involve children in outdoor activities.

Students ranging from fourth to 12th grade will compete in a variety of events beginning March 17.
