WADDY, Ky. (WHAS11) – Shelby County Animal Control says they may know what’s been happening to animals randomly attacked in the area.
An officer says a pit-bull may have been terrorizing the community since reports surfaced in mid-December about a mysterious animal attacking livestock.
He says two women saw the pit-bull attacking their dog and was able to pull it off of their dog and tie it up until animal control could take it away.
For the past couple of weeks, several farm animals including goats were attacked and had to be put down.
Apparently the pit-bull is very friendly with humans but appears to have aggression towards other animals.
Animal control said they are trying to locate the dog’s owner.
