Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A man who helped his lover bury a body in his old Louisville basement has been let out of prison.

Jeffery Mundt is convicted of helping his then-boyfriend, Joseph Banis, hide the body of James Carroll.
Banis killed Carroll after a drug-fueled sex party at Mundt's home in 2009.

The couple then put Carroll's body in a 50-gallon plastic container and burried it in Mundt's basement.

Mudnt led police to the body in 2010 after he said Banis threatened to kill him.

Mudnt will be on supervised probation. There is no word yet on why Mundt was released.

Joseph Banis remains behind bars.
