BULLITT COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) – Two people are facing charges after a drug bust led to multiple meth labs being discovered in an apartment complex.
Bullitt County Detectives say they received reports of drug activity at Brook Run Apartments in the 100 block of North Triangle Lane in Hillview.
Police say they were tipped to the disposal of meth labs near a dumpster at the complex.
According to the report, they were led to the apartment of LeKisha Sherrill where they later discovered three additional active meth labs.
Sherrill and her cousin James Sherrill were both charged with manufacturing meth and first degree criminal abuse because a small child was also in the residence at the time.
