Motorcyclist struck on I-64 while fleeing police

Mount Sterling, Ky. (WHAS) – A motorcyclist who ran from police on I-64 Friday night was struck by another vehicle.

Kentucky State Police say troopers pulled 21-year-old Steven Reilly over near Mount Sterling around 9 P.M. after he was speeding more than 100 mph.

Police say when Reilly and the trooper had a verbal altercation; Reilly pushed his motorcycle into the trooper’s direction and ran.

That’s when he was struck by a van on I-64.

Reilly is currently in serious but stable condition at UK hospital.
