LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Lexington man who dreamt up ideas of a Ferris wheel for Louisville’s Waterfront Park expansion debuted his plans to the public and Metro Council Thursday.
The drawings and plans for the 22 acres west of downtown Louisville were revealed by Andy Knight of MK-SK in Lexington.
The idea of the Ferris wheel near 12th and Rowan Streets was a last minute addition and surprised city leaders when they were shown the plans.
Metro Council held the meeting Thursday afternoon to gather more ideas from the public.
