LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville mom was arrested at Jefferson County High School Tuesday after police said she was drunk.
Police were called to the school on the report of an intoxicated person. When officers arrived at the location they said 32-year-old Minuette R. Points getting into her car and was trying to drive away before she was stopped.
According to the police report, Points was at the school to pick up her children and admitted to having "an alcoholic beverage" before she drove to the school.
Police said Points's speech was slurred, she was unsteady on her feet and her eyes were bloodshot.
Officers said they felt Points was a danger to herself and others, and when they tried to place her under arrest she became combative.
The report states Points pulled away from the arresting officer and kicked him in the leg before she was take into custody.
Points is charged with resisting arrest, assault on a police officer, public intoxication and no registration plates.
