LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) - There are three weeks to go until the start of the PGA Championship, and work is in high gear at Valhalla Golf Course.

A miniature city is being built out there with everything from setting up the seating and locker rooms to the hospitality areas.

The 38,000 square foot championship shop is also taking shape. It’s where you can get all the clothing and accessories you might need.

Then there's the Wannamaker tent, which is the biggest indoor space on the course.

It's a 40,000 square foot tent with a 30,000 square foot patio. It’s got seating, a jumbotron and a massive gathering area. Just to give you a scope, that's a department store; a Target, a Wal-Mart, and it's only open for 7 days.

The PGA Championship runs August 4 through the 10 at Valhalla.
