Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Siri, meet your competition.

Microsoft has introduced its version of Apple's virtual assistant called "Cortana." The name comes from the artificial intelligence character in the video game Halo.

Cortana replaces the search function on the new Windows' phone soft war. It can search the Internet, set up alarms, shift calendar appointments and much more.
