Metro Corrections: HIV positive inmate throws urine on officer

According to court documents, 22-year-old Charles Clark, who police said is H.I.V. positive, threw a cup of urine on a corrections officer "exposing his head, face, neck, shoulder and chest area," to the bodily fluid.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Metro Corrections inmate is facing additional charges after he was accused of assaulting an officer.

According to court documents, 22-year-old Charles Clark, who police said is HIV positive, threw a cup of urine on a corrections officer "exposing his head, face, neck, shoulder and chest area," to the bodily fluid.

After throwing the urine, the report states Clark then threatened to spit on any officer that entered his cell and touched him.

Clark is now charged with attempted murder, 2nd degree assault and 3rd degree assault.
