Public meeting Thursday over Clarksville park land removal

CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WHAS 11) -- The town of Clarksville is looking to remove approximately one acre of land from the nine-acre Ray Lawrence Park on Irving Drive.

Residents will have a chance to voice concerns over the controversial project.

The land would be used for storm water runoff for surrounding neighborhoods.

The public meeting is set for Thur., Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Clarksville Town Hall.
