Louisville, Ky. (WHAS) – Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer has named a new director of Metro Public Works.
Vanessa Burns was selected after a nationwide search.
She has served as public works director is Washington D.C., Evanston, Illinois and New Haven, Connecticut.
Burns replaces Ted Pullen, who resigned in September, amid allegations of discrimination in the department.
