LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A family dispute over a cell phone and terroristic threats has led to a Pleasure Ridge Park man’s arrest on Saturday.
Police say an argument began over a cell phone in the 7400 block of Terry Road when they say 27-year-old Kurtis Hendricks slammed his grandmother on the ground while yelling and spitting on her.
According to the report, the grandmother fled to her bedroom locking herself in and Hendricks attempted to kick the door down.
Once Hendricks was apprehended, he told police that if they were alone he would ‘beat them’ and he would ‘eat them alive’.
Corrections officers say he head butted an officer hitting him in the nose.
Hendricks is facing charges including third and fourth degree assault and terroristic threatening in the third degree.
