LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The man accused in a fatal drunk driving accident on highway 111 in Floyd County was sentenced to prison Friday.

Wesley Bradshaw, 32, was sentenced to twelve years in prison and a three year suspended sentence for the 2011 accident that killed 52-year-old Kevin Hammersmith.

Hammersmith was on his way home from a business meeting at the Horseshoe Casino when police say Bradshaw's car crossed the center line and hit Hammersmith’s vehicle head-on.

Bradshaw pleaded guilty earlier this month.
