PLYMOUTH, Ind. (AP) -- Authorities say an Illinois man died at a northern Indiana lake after falling from a boat and being hit by its propeller.

Police on Monday identified the man as 61-year-old Roger Martin of Huntley, Ill., 45 miles northwest of Chicago. State conservation officers say he was a passenger on a boat pulling people on tubes Sunday and was sitting on the boat's edge when it turned to pick up the tubers.

Officials say Martin was pronounced dead at the scene at Lake Latonka a few miles southwest of Plymouth.
