(WHAS11) – David Bronk was convicted for playing a role in the 1994 storage warehouse fire that killed a Louisville firefighter.
Bronk is set to be released from prison on Saturday.
Bronk was one of four people convicted in the case. Prosecutors say Bronk was the lookout when this fire was set to cover up a burglary.
The blaze killed firefighter Shawn Nutter.
Bronk was sentenced to 15 years in 1997, but will only have served 13 years if released Saturday.
WHAS11's Anna Prendergast has more.
