LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Police say two brothers got into an altercation with a passing motorist at a local Walmart.
Police say Justin Hayes and his brother were walking in the middle of the road on Standiford Plaza when the victim honked at them.
The subjects became irate, police said, and started kicking the vehicle. The victim got out of his vehicle and was subsequently attacked by the subjects.
Police say the victim's mother tried to break up the fight, and was struck in the chest and face.
The police report said witnesses told police that the suspects kicked the victim in the face after the victim had fell onto the ground.
One of the victim's cell phones was stolen during the altercation and was demolished when the suspects fled the scene.
The suspects were taken into custody less than a mile away behind the Walmart on Standiford Plaza Dr.
Hayes is charged with Robbery First and Assault Second and has a cash bond of $5,000.
