LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville man is facing first degree robbery charges after police say two victims were robbed at the Kingston Apartments in South Louisville.
18-year-old Shaquille Martin and a juvenile accomplice were spotted in the 5300 block of South Third Street after matching the description victims gave to police.
Police say the two admitted to driving a stolen vehicle to the scene, parking it in the rear of the complex and committing the crime.
The pair also admitted to selling the stolen merchandise to a local cell phone retailer.
In addition to facing the first degree robbery charges, Martin is also facing a charge of receiving stolen property.
