LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Metro Police say a man is facing a lengthy list of charges after conducting a narcotics search 3000 block of Frank Lee Avenue near Pleasure Ridge Park.
Detectives say 35-year-old Mozell Johnson and two others were arrested after an undercover drug operation.
According to the police report, Johnson participated in numerous drug transactions and utilized individuals to be the lookout to conceal narcotics while under surveillance.
Officers say they uncovered large quantities of cocaine, heroin and marijuana all packaged for sale.
Further search of the property revealed a pair of loaded firearms, large amounts of cash, hydrocodone pills and a digital scale.
Johnson list of charges includes three separate counts of trafficking in a controlled substance for a first offense (heroin, marijuana and hydrocodone); another count of trafficking in a controlled substance for cocaine in which he has a prior charge; two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Johnson also faces a count of endangering the welfare of a minor because his 12-year-old child was on the premises during his arrest.
