LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man charged with murder and DUI after a deadly crash in Hardin County is now facing new charges.

Michael Hilton was arrested and charged back in June after police said he was involved in an accident that killed 17-year-old Brianna Taylor. Police said the 34-year-old was driving a pick up that collided with a Mustang at the intersection of New Patriot Parkway and Deckard School Road.

While in jail awaiting trial on charges associated with the accident, Hilton was indicted on new charges stemming from a separate investigation.

According to the News-Enterprise, Hilton, along with several others, has been indicted in connection with a methamphetamine ring.

Hilton's new charges include trafficking, criminal syndication and engaging in organized crime.
