LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Virginia man was arrested at the Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville early Saturday morning on drug charges.

Police said they were called to the hotel at 3:00 Saturday morning on a report of two people arguing loudly.

Once police arrived on the scene, they said two small baggies and a syringe fell out of Joshua Bachar's pocket   One of those baggies, they said, contained an off-white powdery substance.

Officers went into the room to speak with the other person involved in the argument and noticed, in plane view, a small makeup bag with smaller baggies, a scale and syringes, according to police.  They also found a syringe full of a clear brown liquid and marijuana in a small baggie.

Police said Joshua Bachar is charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.
