Man arrested after allegedly admitting to arson

David L. Jewett, 19, a Radcliff man, has been charged with arson and wanton endangerment after allegedly admitting to setting a fire.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A Radcliff man has been charged with arson and wanton endangerment after allegedly admitting to setting a fire.

Radcliff Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of a residential fire early Thursday morning at the Golden Rainbow mobile home park.

Shortly after, police said they received a tip that David L. Jewett, 19, may have information regarding the cause of the fire.

Detectives said they questioned Jewett, and said that during the interview, Jewett admitted to starting the fire. Reports said that Jewett also admitted that he had knowledge that the home was occupied at the time he started the fire.

He was arrested and is being held in the Hardin County Detention Facility.
