(WHAS11) – Pink Pumpkins in an Arizona field are now being used for a good cause.
An Arizona farmer mistakenly had a cross pollination between white and red Cinderella pumpkins.
He loved the color and now grows them on purpose to raise money for breast cancer research.
Funds from the unique pumpkins will be donated to the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
The goal is to raise $25,000.
