LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Valley Station man was is facing charges after police say he was carrying a machete around the Wal-Mart on Dixie Highway.
Police said they were flagged down by a driver who told them a man, later identified as Stephen Brown, was threatening to cut people in pieces.
Officers responded and found Brown walking out of the Wal-Mart, machete in hand. Police said Brown caused panic and alarm to employees.
Brown is charged with menacing, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.
