The 42nd Motorcade and Rally will be at Lyles Plaza at 28th and Broadway starting at 10 a.m. and will end at the Promise Land Baptist Church.

The Ali center will show Martin Luther King Jr.’s "I have a dream speech" every hour on the hour beginning at 10 a.m.

Monday kicks off the “40 Days of Peace Campaign.” The goal is to reduce crime, violence and prevent murders in Louisville. And, a number of service projects will be going on around Louisville.

The African American Theatre Program at the University of Louisville will celebrate King's legacy with a play, keynote address by journalist Betty Baye and recognition for three women who helped advance the Civil Rights Movement in Kentucky. The event is at the playhouse at 1 p.m.
