Louisville's hometown gal, Nicole Scherzinger, wins 'Dancing with the Stars'

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – After three months of competition, Louisville's hometown girl, Nicole Scherzinger, took home the “Dancing with the Stars” Mirrorball trophy on Tuesday night.

The Pussycat Doll and Louisville native finished with a perfect score on her last dance, dancing to "Proud Mary."

Nicole and her partner, Derek Hough, beat out Olympic gold medalist, Evan Lysacek, to become the Season Ten winners.

WHAS11 News was with Nicole’s Louisville family on Tuesday as they watched the show’s results.

Nicole Scherzinger and her partner will be on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday morning.
