LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man was arrested on multiple charges of trespassing and burglary at the Galt House.
Police say Tony Alvis was caught on video entering multiple rooms and stealing from guests.
Alvis was found passed out in a chair on the third floor of the Galt House East Wing. According to the arrest report, Alvis was not a paying guest nor was he visiting anyone. Police say he smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. He also had a baggie of marijuana.
Galt House security said they have escorted Alvis out of the building on multiple occasions.
Alvis also reportedly broke into a room where a woman was sleeping and stole $290. She awoke and was able to give a description of the man.
Another person reported a missing iPad2 and found a picture of the Alvis on his iCloud account. Alvis admitted to stealing the iPad and pawning it.
Alvis was charged with second degree criminal trespass, alcohol intoxication in a public place, possession of marijuana, and two counts of second degree burglary.
